Official Contest Rules

1. Overview

ElectionPlus.AI operates free-to-enter prediction contests ("Contests") tied to real local elections across the United States. Each Contest is independently sponsored by a participating business ("Sponsor"). No purchase or payment of any kind is necessary to enter or win. A purchase will not improve your chances of winning. Void where prohibited by law.

2. Eligibility

• Open to legal residents of the United States who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry.
• Employees, officers, and directors of ElectionPlus.AI, its affiliates, Contest Sponsors, and their immediate family members (spouse, parents, children, siblings) and household members are not eligible.
• Void in any state or jurisdiction where prohibited or restricted by law.
• Entrants must have a valid email address and create an ElectionPlus.AI account to participate.

3. How to Enter

1. Register — Create a free account on the Sign Up page by providing your name, email, display name, state, and interests.
2. Browse Contests — Visit the Contests page to see available prediction contests, each with a Sponsor and prize pool.
3. Make Your Prediction — Select the candidate or outcome you predict will win. Your prediction locks in when the Contest closes (typically before election day).

There is no limit to the number of Contests you may enter. Each Contest is independent with its own Sponsor, prize pool, and entry period. Each entrant may submit only one prediction per Contest.

4. Contest Period

Each Contest has its own entry period, which is displayed on the contest card. The entry period ends before the corresponding election takes place. Late entries will not be accepted. Contest results are determined after election results are officially certified by the relevant election authority.

5. Winner Selection

After the election results for a Contest are officially certified:

1. All entrants who correctly predicted the winning candidate or outcome are identified.
2. One winner is selected by random drawing from among all correct entries for that Contest.
3. Each correct entry has an equal chance of being selected, regardless of confidence percentage submitted. The random drawing is conducted by ElectionPlus.AI.

Odds of winning depend on the number of correct entries received for each Contest. If no entrant correctly predicts the outcome, no prize is awarded for that Contest.

6. Prizes

Each Contest has a Sponsor-funded prize pool. Prizes vary by Contest and may include gift cards, merchandise, store credit, or experiences. The specific prize and its approximate retail value are displayed on each Contest card before entry.

• Prizes are non-transferable and may not be redeemed for cash (unless the prize itself is a cash award or gift card).
• ElectionPlus.AI reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if the advertised prize becomes unavailable.
• One prize per Contest per person.

7. Winner Notification

Winners will be notified by email at the address provided during registration within 14 days of the election results being certified. Winners must respond to the notification within 14 days to claim their prize. If a winner does not respond within 14 days, the prize may be forfeited and an alternate winner may be selected by random drawing from the remaining correct entries.

8. Tax Obligations

Winners are solely responsible for any federal, state, and local taxes on prizes. For prizes valued at $600 or more, winners will be required to provide a valid Social Security Number or Taxpayer Identification Number, and an IRS Form 1099 will be issued. ElectionPlus.AI and Sponsors are not responsible for any tax obligations arising from prize acceptance.

9. Not Gambling

ElectionPlus.AI prediction contests are free-to-enter sweepstakes, not gambling. Key distinctions:

• No purchase or payment required. Entry is completely free. No entry fee, subscription, or credit card is needed.
• No wagering. Participants do not risk anything of value. There is no stake, bet, or wager.
• Sponsor-funded prizes. All prize pools are funded by business Sponsors, not by participant entry fees.
• Random winner selection. Among correct predictions, winners are selected by random drawing — constituting a sweepstakes structure.

This platform does not facilitate, encourage, or involve gambling in any form. ElectionPlus.AI does not accept money from participants, and participants cannot lose money by entering. The platform is for informational and entertainment purposes only.

10. Predictions Disclaimer

All AI predictions displayed on ElectionPlus.AI are for informational and entertainment purposes only. They are not intended as political advice, financial advice, or election forecasts upon which any person should rely for decision-making. AI predictions do not represent the views of ElectionPlus.AI, its Sponsors, or any affiliated organization.

11. Sponsor Independence

Contest Sponsors fund prize pools and receive brand visibility on contest cards. Sponsorship has no influence on AI predictions, contest outcomes, or winner selection. Sponsors are identified on each Contest card for transparency.

12. Privacy

Information collected during registration (name, email, display name, state, interests) is used solely for the purpose of administering Contests, notifying winners, and sending contest-related communications. We will not sell your personal information to third parties. You may unsubscribe from email communications at any time. Winner names and display names may be published in connection with Contest results.

13. Limitation of Liability

ElectionPlus.AI, its affiliates, and Contest Sponsors are not responsible for: (a) lost, late, misdirected, or undeliverable entries; (b) technical failures, including hardware or software malfunctions, lost or unavailable network connections, or failed electronic communications; (c) any injury or damage arising from participation in any Contest or acceptance of a prize; (d) errors in Contest administration or winner announcement.

14. Right to Modify or Cancel

ElectionPlus.AI reserves the right to modify, suspend, or cancel any Contest at any time for any reason, including but not limited to election cancellation, Sponsor withdrawal, or circumstances beyond our control. In such cases, prizes may not be awarded.

15. Governing Law

These Official Rules and any disputes arising from or relating to any Contest shall be governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict of law principles.
